Christ the King

This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. We gather to celebrate not only his triumph and glory, but also his justice. The Gospel tells us that, as the Judge of all human beings, he will base his irrevocable decision on the way we have treated our neighbor.

This Solemnity also marks the end of our liturgical year, one filled with many blessings, of moments of unity and love gathered around his table. This coming week we will have the opportunity to thank our Lord for the innumerable graces He has given us. I invite all of you to come this Thursday, November 27th at 10:30 AM, to our traditional Thanksgiving Day celebration. After our Eucharistic celebration we will have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner provided by the Knights of Columbus; and guess what?...
